'early birds' everywhere-- people that is

off to the beach at 545am... sure seemed like a lot of cars on the road.. highly unusual especially for an early Sunday morning... guess everyone had the same idea with the Town of Sunset Beach opening up the beaches since Friday-- 'tourons' everywhere.. the Gazebo Municipal parking lot was 2/3's full already .. decided to just head on over to the East End of the island and hope for the best-- no one around.. parked the car.. walked across the dunes walkway .. some ladies jogging .. a few other couples walking toward Tubbs Inlet with Ocean Isle Beach island across the way in view.. got near no one and that's what I wanted.. all were keeping distance.. pretty sunrise.. 68* at 6am.. a stop at the Lake on the drive home.. up to 78* during the afternoon with clouds moving in later on from the impending Tropical Storm Arthur moving up the coast from Florida and hopefully on its current track staying offshore from us..
