a nice New Year's Eve Dinner at my nephew's house on Long Island this evening.. for an appetizer - Cavatelli with Broccoli Rabe and Italian Sausage.. for the main course -Lobster Tails.. along with a nice Italian Amarone wine.. the 7 of us enjoyed this fantastic meal..
for the lil' guy.. my grand-nephew ..over to the Cold Spring Harbor beach ..a bit on the kewl side.. for about 45 minutes.. only one fish was seen jumping in this saltwater bay.. low tide didn,t help either.. the kid had fun so that's all that counts..nice to always see a smile on his face.. he is a fishing machine
with overcast cloudy skies and continued cold temps the past 2 days the sun finally broke thru the clouds by noon.. temps up to 27*.. off to BeniHana's Japanese grill for a 3pm lunch-dinner with the entire gang of 7.. a great time had by all
a beautiful Christmas Day with my nephew and his family on Long Island.. last evening it was Italian nite with Raviolis-my favorite .. today it was Prime Rib... nice to see family after a long time away from here because of Covid.. Merry Christmas to all my friends

at 5am it was 7* outside where we are up on Long Island.. never got above 12* today

the 7 of us.. Pat and I.. our nephew ..his wife and 3 kids headed into Manhattan-- left the house at 10am.. lunch at Keens Steakhouse on 36th street.. then on over to Radio City Music Hall at 6th and 49th street for the 2pm show.. super great Christmas Show with Santa and the Rockettes.. and oh that rush hour traffic for the drive home-- less than 30 miles - 2.5 hours.. a few pics from today.. one of the Rockettes was the lead dancer the first 2 cruises we recently did in the Med on the Oosterdam
