the fog meets the sun

as I left the house well before sunrise this morning I knew what I was in for-- heavy pea soup fog.. I continued on to the beach nearby the Pier .. saw only 2 peeps sitting on a blanket waiting for the sunrise that I knew would never be.. 54* and fog fog and more fog.. snapped a few pics then as I headed along the causeway the sun started to slowly break thru the fog .. across the bridge and over to Veteran's Park along the Intracoastal Waterway made for some interesting pics.. a nice sunny day as the fog burned off completely bringing blue skies and 69* temps

 with the forecast for more rain I went over to the beach just the same...  47*  with no wind..  not much of a sunrise  as the sun tried to find its way thru the clouds.. a nice day overall as the rain in the forecast somehow passed us by.. 63* and mostly sunny and clouds all day

a beautiful early morning as I drove over to the beach at 40th street...47* and no wind.. a small group of the regulars--dog-walkers arrived for their walk just before I got there.. sunny and 67* for the remainder of the day... my lil' buddy Bentley stopped by to say hello ... this pretty weather in late February sure can spoil ya'..

another pretty early morning as I drove over to the beach at 40th street before sunrise on the west end as per my usual.. just a few of the winter regulars and daily dog-walkers on the beach.. 47* so not so bad out there today.. the clouds moved in by 8am .. cleared out by late morning and a nice sunny 60* day overall..

after a few more days of even more rain..  a drive over to the beach this early morning at sunrise.. NO rain thankfully with clear blue skies .. temps at 32* so a bit of chill in the air.. beach was pretty quiet with only one walker nearby and a few dog-walkers off to the west in the distance.. a short stop at the lake on the drive home to 'wet a line' with no takers
