Day 13-- Puerto Vallarta

a 10am arrival in this pretty port of Puerto Vallarta..  our plans today to meet up with our Long Island cruising friends Ron and Barbara who stay here every year for 3 months from Jan thru March.. over to their condo at the PV Marina complex about 1.5 miles away from the port at the Royal Pacific Yacht Club.. it was 'an I-tal-yun Sunday at 2pm pasta dinner' .. great food and great friends ..beautiful place :)..  more pics to follow

Day 12-- at Sea

Saturday sailing--a day at Sea as we continue northbound along the west coast in the Pacific enroute to our next port-- Puerto Vallarta-- with arrival there Sunday 10am ..   beautiful day 85* sunny.. catching some 'rays' on the Lido Deck-aft.. a Mariner's reception followed by a lluncheon mid-day ..we were the highest Mariners onboard

Day 11-- Huatulco, Mexico

arrived on schedule on this Friday at 1pm in Huatulco, Mexico.. great complex with a nice beach and plenty of small shops and outdoor cafes and restaurants.. since we've been here so many times before just pina coladas and some nachos--tourist fare for us 'tourons' .. later on it was a nice dinner onboard in the Pinnacle Grill.. filet mignon and crab legs were for us..  great dinner there as always :)

Day 10-- Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala

    Sunrise in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala ..an early morning arrival....stayed in the complex plenty going on  ...best pina coladas... local fashion-history show..  94* sunny.. pretty day



























a FLASHBACK --- first time here was in Feb 2008 on the Maasdam.. got 3 Pacific Sailfish-- all catch and release.. 5 of us raised 27 Sailfish on the charter that day we landed 15 --3 each.. in 4.5 hours.. what a day.. they don't book those offshore charters anymore unfortunately.. best-est of the best Sailfishing around..  Marina Pez Vela a/k/a Sailfish Marina is right next door to our cruise dock-- a stone's throw away..  here's a couple of pics from back then
