Day 8-- Puntarenas, Costa Rica

arrival in Puntarenas, Costa Rica at 7am but due to tidal conditions a change in where we actually docked became the focus of the day.. a shuttle bus was provided to all to make the 12 mile drive into town from the alternate port at Puerto Caldera.. we've had this happen in the past on the many times we've been here ..  a nice HOT day 91* sunny.. did some local shopping and checking the beachfront out.. plenty of outdoor flea market style booths along the way..  nice people all around..  Dinner at the Hotel Director Darren Lewis' table tonite.. great group.. 

btw Margaret and Peter the Hotel Director  is originally from the UK..  super nice guy..not sure if you know him
