just when all look good with our weather --and the cold temps were gone for the season-- this early morning's temps were at 42*F... not nice.. so much for the weather forecasts of mid 60's into the 80's for the afternoons.. rain is needed as there are still many fire hazard warnings still posted thruout our area both in North Carolina and into South Carolina

as soon as our family went back home the other day the temps rose with today at 77*F .. some clouds earlier but the rain that was in the forecast over the past three days and all day today was nowhere to be found- but we really do need the rain as there are numerous Fire Hazard Warnings posted from north of us in Wilmington and thruout Brunswick County thru south of us across into South Carolina in the Myrtle Beach area and beyond.. dangerous stuff
our nephew his wife and 3 kids were here visiting for the week.. they decided to rent a beach house on the water on Ocean Isle Beach.. to do those 'beachy' things.. including some surf fishing for the younger 9 year old boy.. they had a blast in that front row ocean house as we spent every day with them at the house.. lots of family fun.. they left for home flying back to Long Island, NY yesterday morning..
HAPPY EASTER for all those who celebrate .. may you have a most delightful and joyous day.. eat well today at the traditional Easter Dinner.. clouds with rain in the forecast later in the day.. family from Long Island NY are in town so a busy week for us running around here there and everywhere
