a 'walk in the Park'

a 'walk in the park'.. headed over for a Sunrise moment and decided to stop at Sunset Beach Veteran's Park on the ICW-- the Intracoastal Waterway --nearby the Sunset Beach Bridge on the mainland side.. turns out I was the ONLY peep out there.. very unusual as many dog-walkers and walkers are usually in the park at that time.. another 603am Sunrise.. grab some pics and finally saw 2 peeps as I was leaving.. stopped off at the lake to 'wet a line'--nada.. 76* early and up to 90* by late morning -- a 'cooker'

 

Sunrise on the East End

a short walk on the East End of Sunset Beach Island as I arrived on the beach just a few minutes before Sunrise at 558am.. peeps were around mainly west of my location as the busy summer resort season takes over.. good to be on the beach as a pretty Sunrise started off the day.. 76* with steady 25+mph SSW winds.. then up to 87* by late morning and thruout the rest of the day.. a 'hot one' with the humidity near 80%.. still under a 'Fire Danger Warning' thruout the County with drought conditions even after the rain we've had over the past week or so.
