Day 14-day at sea

after leaving beautiful Cabo San Lucas yesterday at 2pm we set sail northbound up the Baja coast toward our next port--San Diego...  the weather has definitely turned cooler thruout the day... strong winds off the Baja of 30-40 knots kept the ship a bit bouncy overnite ..60*+ temps thruout the day and partly sunny skies warmed up the outside deck-crowd a bit... a few more whales showed up--in the ocean in addition to on-deck .. after dinner we met friends in the Crows Nest for a  last day get- together...  a nice day overall

Day 13-Cabo San Lucas

finally the whales started showing up as we entered the bay and anchorage in Cabo San Lucas... not nearly as many as we've seen before when we were here on 5 previous trips...  just strolled around the town and marina complex which is one of the largest ones around including a large mall at the south end... always a fun time here... did lunch at one of the local marina cafes...Guacamole with chips and cheese Quesadillas..had to have them... sunny 80* .. this should be our last of the HEAT as we set  sail up the Baja peninsular at 2pm  toward our next port--San Diego-- on Friday..  a nice show again in the showroom tonite-- 'Encore'-- as two of the singers performed  a duet ..  got the old sweatshirt at the ready for the 'kewler' temps coming our way... brrrrr

Day 12-Puerto Vallarta

sailed into port early at 7am... we were off the ship by 830am  and headed for Wally World that's across the street from the port.. went next door to the large Mall for some free wifi and a couple of phone calls and by that time it was lunch at an outdoor restaurant near the cruise docks ..Guacamole and tortilla chips.. some Enchiladas and a Corona Light... it was an early embarking at 130pm .. a very short stay so we didn't venture out down to the Malecon--boardwalk-beach-shops downtown-- as we are back here on the return leg of this cruise in about 5 weeks.. a nice sunny day

Day 11-day at sea

a day at sea as we head on up the Mexican west coast toward our next port--Puerto Vallarta ..we attended a Mariner's luncheon that took me away from my spot on the Lido deck aft... just what I needed --a free lunch...  anyway  plenty of pods of dolphin thruout the day.. still no sightings of any whales which is quite unusual along this part of the coast having been thru this area a number of times on past cruises... a nice show by the singers and dancers of the ship's cast in the Showroom--Stardust--Las Vegas...  Pat went to Music trivia after the show

Day 10-Huatulco, Mexico

late morning arrival in this resort town of Huatulco--Santa Cruz-- Mexico .. we just walked off the ship and stayed close-by on the pretty beach after walking the stores and small village... we had a nice Mexican lunch at a local beach cafe...also had to grab a quick dip in the warm waters in view of our ship  along with a couple of Cervezas  and some Quasadillas with  some free wifi .. beautiful clear sunny skies in the mid 80's just made for a 'beachy' kinda day
