Day 28--Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

arrival at 7am at the anchorage off  Half Moon Cay, Bahamas Holland America's private island.. very light winds allowed us to land via the ship's tenders this time around .. sharing the island with another HAL ship-- the Nieuw Amersterdam.. I went ashore on the first tender alone  with Pat ..Peter and Margaret meeting me over there about an hour later.. all the way down past the last Life-Guard station I made my claim to a nice quiet out of the way location..  the other ship brought over 2K pax .. we only had about a thousand..  still quiet thruout the day where we were.. the weather was perfect in the high 70's with a nice breeze.. water was magnificent crystal clear blue.. what a place..  we packed up and were on the tender to the ship by 2pm --sailaway was at 230pm..  the end of a 28 day cruise sure does come up fast these days..

oh so nice and quiet
