Day 8--Puntarenas, Costa Rica

a decent Sunrise so of course I was up and out on deck at 530am....arrived 7am in Puntarenas, Costa Rica ... we set out for the short walk downtown..picked up a few trinkets as souveniers at the local flea booths..back to the ship by 10am to have a late breakfast before starting our Mangrove tour at the Tarcoles River at 1130am..  a rather long drive to the estuary before boarding a pontoon boat with our guides..nice pics but fewer Crocs than last time with high tide in place..  onboard internet has been slow as per its usual so will have to post pics later on.. another dinner in the Pinnacle Grill tonite.. this time Linda joined us --she's on her transit cruise home to the west coast and ended her contract last week-- so she's 'just a tourist' this trip.. great dinner.. met Margaret & Peter in the Ocean Bar afterwards at 10pm joining them in their usual spot
