Day 24--Panama Canal

arrival at Panama City and the Pacific side of the Panama Canal at 5am..  after passing under the Bridge of the Americas by 715am we were entering the Miraflores Locks--2 locks-- a short one mile later into the Pedro Miquel lock--one lock which brings us up to the 85 foot level for the transit to Gatun Lake about a 2+ hour run..a pass under the Centennial Bridge on to the Continental Divide ...a nice day for the transit with 20+ mph winds sunny ..as we exited Gatun locks a couple of Crocs on the bank..  passing thru the breakwaters the winds picked up for our sail toward Cartagena with arrival tomorrow morning
