well the rain is here as I drive over to the lake.. no island today..
rain came down harder as I got closer to the Lake and island.. seems it
is offshore about to come ashore for the next few hours.. never know who
you're going to run into there-- a couple of lil' doods with umbrellas
hanging out on the hood of the car.. gave it a try-- 'wetting a
line'--literally.. nada.. a few pics and that was it.. headed back home...
Tropical Storm Bertha formed off the central South Carolina Coast
about 100 miles south of us offshore of Charleston early this morning.. at 11am it made landfall in
Mt Pleasant just a couple of miles north of downtown Charleston and
continues on its path north and inland.. we should get some rain showers
for the next 3 days from it..and the rain continues..--ugh
