Day 15-San Diego

arrived in San Diego at 6am with early morning temps of 49*... since the ship's excursion office didn't get the minimum for the S-D Zoo tour they cancelled it.. we set out on our own and headed over to the Zoo.. having been there a couple of times before we knew what we wanted to see and do...  it turned into a super nice day--sunny and 70*..  a lot of walking  and picture taking made for a great day.. we headed back to the ship .. made a few phone calls and got back on the ship at 330pm..our friend Ruth that we sailed with on a few previous cruises surprised us by being onboard when we returned....  tonite we decided to go to the Pinnacle restuarant since we had a freebie there.. had a pretty darn good meal once again as it wasn't crowded this the first nite for most people for this part of our cruise..
