Day 29--Bora Bora day 1

we arrived at anchorage in the bay at Bora Bora at about 930am... it sure has the scenic beauty... a big wow factor...tendering from the ship today and tomorrow as we spend an overnite here... it was off to the local beach after a short shuttle ride  ... more wow..crystal clear waters with temps at 84*.. a beautiful sunny day...not many beaches on this island... we walked next door to the Intercontinental Hotel with the grass huts sitting over the water.. like a movie set.. had a beer.. walked the grounds and beach there.. then it was a short shuttle ride back to the tender dock downtown with a short stop at Bloody Mary's bar and restaurant--a famous watering hole of the 'beautiful people'...  the prices on this island are outta sight... higher than almost anywhere we've traveled to over the years...we walked around the shops downtown then after a short while we hopped a tender ride back to the ship.. a quiet evening onboard
