it was up to the Lido Deck-aft before the 712am sunrise.. 72* and a super nice day at sea as we sail WSW toward the Strait of Messina, Sicily and then NW toward our next port of call -- Napoli -- arriving there tomorrow morning.. dinner in the Pinnacle this evening with a couple of old cruising friends we know from way back in 2011 sailing the Maasdam on its Atlantic Adventurer roundtrip Ft Laud-Med crossing.. 5x on the Maasdam.. 1x on the Rotterdam and 1x on the Veendam.. we did that cruise the 7 years that HAL ran it from 2011 thru 2017.. a great cruise.. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strait_of_Messina ... a scenic view of the island of Stromboli just northwest of Messina
