sailing toward our next port Palermo, Sicily, Italy with arrival scheduled for 930am.. up on the Observation Deck to snap a few Sunrise pics at 702am.. 75* and sunny blue skies.. off the ship by 1015am for a walk into downtown Palermo stopping at some familiar places along the way along with our favorite bakery where we bought some Italian cookies and cannolis ..always a pleasure to see happy faces inside the store every time we stop here in Palermo.. .. met a few friends from the ship.. met a not so nice young waiter wise guy while trying to order a pizza at a local outdoor cafe.. we had words.. sometimes the 'brooklyn' in me comes out at the right time as I walked away from the table leaving him stuck with his beers and a 'no sale' on the pizza begging me to come back--- wise guys--make that wise arses- always lose in the end --'old brooklyn guys' like me always win-- 'fuhgeddaboudit'.. back on the ship by 1pm.. Pinnacle Grill for dinner tonite with friends ..
