Day 21- Mgarr, Gozo, Malta

we sailed into and made our approach to Malta.. our first of 2 ports here in Malta.. today it was Mgarr on the smaller island of Gozo just a short distance of only a few miles from the main Island and Valletta ..up on the Lido deck-aft before 7am for a delayed sunrise due to low clouds...  patience and the wait was well worth it.. it was then down to the Pinnacle Grill for a nice corned beef hash and eggs breakfast.. it was then off the ship and on to the tender for the short ride into the tender dock..  we decided with such nice weather to do a Hop On- Hop Off bus tour.. we've been to Malta a number of times in the past.. what a pretty day.. after 2 hours of the tour of the island it was back on to the ship by 1230pm.. at 6pm we will  pull up the anchor and sail to nearby Valletta a stones throw away-- literally across the bay arriving in the early evening later on today.. we stay in Valletta overnite and thru all day tomorrow-- it is one of  our favorite places to visit.. Malta was literally destroyed during WWII and rebuilt over the years.. a super place to visit with lots of history.. and for the history buffs out there .. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malta
