arrival in the port of Souda, Greece on the island of Crete before a 720am sunrise.. docked by 8am.. breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill then it was off the ship by 930am for a short bus-shuttle ride into Chania Old Town-the main city .. having been here a number of times before we knew the area .. walked the Old Town down to the fort and the water's edge in the small bay.. ate lunch at a local bistro outdoors overlooking the water.. Saganaki and Fried Calamari.. we shared the Calamari with the local friendly cat who sat at our table
