Day 69--Fakarava, French Polynesia

a 6am arrival at the inlet entrance to Fakarava--another Atoll in French Polynesia..way too many clouds at the 503am non-sunrise.. a squall came thru just before our entering inside the passage.. not as narrow as yesterday's dramatic sail thru the narrow inlet at Rangiroa.. at 10am on to the tender for the short ride to the island dock.. found a small beach a short walk away.. plenty of snorkelers and swimmers along with 'the homey' Nurse and Blacktip Sharks.. they just swim around the snorkelers-- amazing stuff.. look close at the pics sharks and swimmers.. one big happy family.. the sun popped out a few times but clouds won out for the day.. as we got back to the ship in the early afternoon the rains came.. just a relaxing beach day swimming with the local wildlife.. neat stuff
