Day 62-- Rarotonga, Cook Islands

another tender port as we arrived in Avatui, Raratonga, Cook Islands at our anchorage just off the beach and small port.. rain rain and more rain that finally stopped at 8am.. it'll be a none-beach kinda day.. as the clouds will be with us thruout the day.. again, one must adapt :).. 9am... the sun peeks out.. who woulda thunk it

a few more pics as we all got on the tender for the short bumpy ride to the tender dock.. big swells made for a slow boarding of the tenders from the ship's tender platform for safety reasons.. today is Sunday so the town is closed up.. a walk around for 2 hours with only a couple of stores opened... NO beer on Sunday being served.. like the old fashion 'blue laws'.. we skipped the beach because of the mostly cloudy weather.. salvaged what looked like and the forecast was for a rainy day
