at 435am we sailed away from Papeete, Tahiti toward Moorea a short distance away-- about 12 miles--sunrise at 513am over Papeete .. on to today's anchorage where we'll be tendering into Opunohu Bay, Moorea.. as we arrived at 630am.. lots of clouds engulfing the island and mountains.. by 7am the sun was shining.. hopefully it'll stay that way..
Mo'orea-- it's a beach day.. the gang of 6 hopped a taxi van from the tender dock for a short 10 minute ride over to Les Tipaniers hotel and the beach.. we were here back in 2013.. nice beach and pleasant people.. and as always the beaches are public here.. nice day 79°clear skies..crystal clear water
