after a couple of nites at the Nuggett in Atlantic City it was time for the rest of our drive north and east over to the Boston area.. we embark Holland America's Zaandam tomorrow--Saturday-- morning for 28 days up to Quebec City and back..
an interesting 6 hour drive today- left AC at 8am ..sunny and 58*.. by the time we got up the Garden State Pkwy--the GSP-- to BRICK it warmed up nicely to 72*.. and stayed nice passing by ROSELLE a couple of towns some of you might know-- hahahaha.. about 20 minutes north and it was down to 60* and cloudy and drizzly.. stayed that way as we crossed over into New York state still on the GSP picking up the NY Thruway-eastbound on to the Tappan Zee bridge on to I-684 to I-84 toward Hartford Connecticut.. turned in to an uglee dreary day ..headed on to the Massachusettes Turnpike I-90 across to Boston and where we'll stay the nite at our regular stop--the Best Western in Quincy where we'll leave our car for the duration.. gotta grab those 'cruise package-parking specials' when you can ..53* and uglee here in Quincy right now.. friggin' brrrrrrrrrrrr ... the 'lobster-cruise' awaits :) :)
