an up up and away Sunrise

a lil' bit different this morning as I decided to head over to the East End of the island near Tubbs Inlet that separates Sunset Beach island from Ocean Isle Beach island.. Ocean Isle Beach is where Hurricane Isaias made landfall last Monday nite at 1110pm at High Tide with a Full Moon.. a lot of damage on that island with flooding also.. plenty of erosion on this East End also same-same as on the West End of the island where I usually go in the early morning`  ...just one lone fisherman was out there when I arrived on the Sunset Beach side of Tubbs Inlet.. a couple of more surf fishermen were across the Inlet on the Ocean Isle Beach side.. and one fisherman was walking in the middle of the inlet from sandbar to sandbar.. Tubbs Inlet over the past 20 or so years has filled in and is very shallow non-navigable for boats and is at times walkable across .. this morning it was low-low tide with lots of beach and essentially no peeps around so out came the Mavic Air 2 Drone for a beach-sunrise test flight.. no one to bother so it went up up and away..  was actually trying out some new updated firmware that I uploaded to the Drone last nite mainly for camera-gimbal functionality for speed of use and smoothness.. I waited until I got home to set it up though

walking off the beach after sunrise--a look back
a lone Sandpiper along the shoreline
the dunes took a hit from the storm--erosion
and more erosion
