an early morning storm.. and a hurricane

with Tropical Storm--soon to be Hurricane--Isaias coming up from the SSE.. headed over to the beach for the non-sunrise at 540am.. on to the beach in the dark for a few minutes before some light showed up.. walked east one block on the beach.. looked over my shoulder to the SSW.. an UGLEE sight as a monster storm was approaching from well offshore.. sure seemed to be moving fast though.. started the walk back as I knew what was to be.. some peeps are oblivious is all I can say.. I mentioned it to a few of them.. as I started walking the short way back to the Gazebo and toward my car the winds picked up.. the temperature got a lot 'kewler' with bursts of really windy kewl air coming off the ocean--the kewl air is the first telltale signs of an impending thunderstorm.. the storm was here with a crackle of a lightning bolt after I got in the car.. bada-bing bada-boom.. a short trip to the beach.. back at the house the rain slowed down some.. looks like no sunrise for tomorrow morning as the storm is supposed to pass thru here between 6-9pm tonite right at High Tide with a Full Moon .. not good with storm surge warnings posted.. at the house.. took down the hanging plants .. cleaned out the gutters after I had checked them with my drone yesterday afternoon-- so e-z.. bird feeders get taken down in a couple of hours.. then we are digging in

just made it back to the car and the rain started on the drive home
back at the house at 7am.. rain slowed up
