an uglee early morning..

it was an uglee cloud filled early Sunday morning before 6am on the island.... no beach today.. no sunrise today.. just a B&W pic says it all.. by 8am the sun was shining.. blue skies right now in the mid-morning.. and hot hot hot

we moved south to our present hacienda Aug 2, 1990 3 days after I retired from being 'on the job'.... today --Aug 2, 2020 we are living down here in southeastern NC 30 years-- minus of course all the cruises we've been on-- 90 total with 87 of them on Holland America

Tropical Storm Isaias is working its way along the Florida east coast heading up our way with now the forecast showing landfall in our area at the NC-SC border on early Tuesday morning..
