Happy St Patrick's Day.. and a GREEN fish

did the drive over to the beach at 645am this morning.. all I saw were clouds.. never got out of the car to touch the sand.. back over the bridge to the mainland and decided to try my luck 'wetting a line' in the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) at the small pier under the bridge for flounder and red drum tossing a plug into the grass and marsh.. word around was that they are catching them on the south end of Myrtle Beach down by Murrells Inlet in the backwaters and bay.. at the ICW no luck this morning.. had one bump but no others.. packed it in after a half hour then on over the short distance to the Lake and pond next to it... got one catch-- a Largemouth Bass-- that was even smaller than the lil' dood I got yesterday.. at least I can say I caught a 'GREEN FISH' (L-M Bass) on St Patrick's Day.. got home then a lil' drizzle off and on.. light rain showers at 11am.. begosh and begolly 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍻🍻🌂

little Largemouth Bass--also called the 'GREEN Fish'
