PART II.... UPDATE: before 7am at the beach-----a feathered friend returns to the Lake after 3 years of being away... but let's start with on the beach before Sunrise.. 42*.. no wind.. clear skies.. a couple of Shrimp boats out about a mile+ off the beach pulling their nets.. the place was quiet.. just a few peeps .. even the dog-walkers stayed away-- too much partying last nite at the witching hour welcoming in a new decade.. off to the Lake across the Sunset Beach Bridge onto the mainland on the drive home with a stop at the Lake.. and there he was .. at the very top of the tree right where he always was--in the middle of Osprey-nest territory... the Ospreys are among the missing this year .. nice to see the Bald Eagles have returned right on time- usually hang out from January thru April.. a pleasant surprise and a nice way to start off the new decade
