another colorful early morning.. and a visit to the doctor

right now dealing with what appears--and feels like a 'blown out' knee.. but had to get out there anyway-- gimpy-- if only to the mainland side and the Sunset Beach Veteran's Park for some Sunrise action-- no beach too long a walk across the Dunes walkway --ouch--ooch--ouch.. .. it never gets old.. colors too.. Orthopedist at 10am.. we shall see-- UPDATE to follow below..

UPDATE after Orthopedist visit..  haven't been to the Orthopedist in a while... usually when you go to a surgeon you almost know what the result will be-- did the x-rays---no structural knee damage--yippee-- possibly ligament damage or meniscus tear.. but she said that NO artificial knee replacement needed at this point.. whew-- loved to hear those words.. asked about getting a cortisone shot to the knee because we have extended long cruise plans.. she agreed and administered it .. if it doesn't get better and the shot doesn't last as long as she said it would-- 3 months--keeping my fingers crossed-- the most later on could be arthroscopic surgery-- and whew..   now I have a boo-boo knee to go along with the boo-boo back.. seems all is well after leaving her office.. still a bit gimpy.. so far so good thru the day--just waiting for the Cortisone shot to kick in completely--hopefully.. hay Ace bandage WITHOUT the old fashioned metal clips.. is this living or what.. in a high tech kinda world .. hanging in there :)
