Nov 14--American Samoa

arrival 7am Pago Pago, American Samoa.. it's a US unincorporated possession..US Post Office etc.. but guess what-- NO cell service that is compatible or reciprocal thru Verizon or any of the other mainland carriers..strange.. people are US Nationals but not US Citizens as they are in places like Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. our plan with the gang of 6 is to walk the town and wing it .. beautiful sail-in ..Sunrise was at 543am.. like the early ones.. just a few peeps out.. 84° sunny.... UPDATE..we all took a nice 2 hour minibus tour of the island..well worth doing on this beautiful island..

we passed across the International Dateline at 3am .. so no such day for us..skipped Nov 15
