Day 40--at Sea

today is a day at sea as we sail south 975 miles toward Fanning Island (Kiribati) for a 'service stop'-- the ship brings donated items mainly from the passengers to the residents on its stop there.. a tradition to help the people on this isolated island.. well done and hats off and a big salute to HAL :) btw we are currently still 5 hours behind EDT on the East Coast..

up on the Sports Deck at 6am on this day at sea.. looking to the south and the rain was heading my way... it was down to the Lower Prom Deck under cover .. then it happened---- a 'Flashlight-Sunrise'.. a Rain Squall .. and a Double Rainbow Connection .. you have sun shining .. you have rain falling in the opposite sky.. you always have a Rainbow.. a great scene--especially when it happens out at sea.. patiently waited for that all elusive Triple-- it never happened--oh so close:) ..almost got to 'reach out and grab that 'pot of gold' off the Port bow..snapped with both 6dMkII and Note 9
