Day 39--Kona, Hawaii--the Big Island

left Hilo 730pm last evening and sailed to the other side of the Big Island of Hawaii-- the west side ... a nice arrival in Kona, Hawaii at 7am at our anchorage-- a tender port.. been here a couple of times before..  the town right at the cruise-tender dock.. an e-z walkabout the city.. beautiful setting.. Sunrise hidden by the mountains that surround the city--- so patience ruled.. a few from our day in sunny hot hot hot 88* Kona.. lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the bay.. our last port in Hawaii.. on to Fanning Island 1000 miles to the south
