Veteran's Day on this November 11th.. a BIG SALUTE to my fellow Veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice so all of us can remain free.. proud to say I served US Army 1966-1968 and a drafted Vietnam Veteran and continue to give thanx and pay tribute to all those who currently serve our country in our military in these trying times.. may God bless and save us all.. 'A-Ten-Hut' !!
I went up to the Sky Deck 14 to catch an 'early morning well before Sunrise' approach to our dockage on another Greek Island -Ketaflion in the seaside town of Agostoli.. just a beautiful place to visit as we have been here a few times before.. the Sunrise was delayed by the surrounding mountains.. but a welcomed sight after the last couple of ports with heavy rains and storms.. Temps up to 68* and sunny by mid- morning as we walked around the town checking out the local fishing boats along the seawall.. and the many small shops looking for that 'perfect magnet'... just one old loggerhead turtle up and about chomping on scraps from the fishermen in their net-boats cleaning their catch.. last time we were here saw as many as 4 large turtles at a time along the seawall..
