heading home in the fog

after our visit to family on Long Island it was over for a 3 day visit to our good friend Anne and her family in nearby Greenwich, Connecticut ....we then headed home early this morning leaving her house at 445am in heavy fog and rain showers most of the 700 mile drive south.. we have been friends with Anne for over 50+ years and were neighbors on Long Island.. she has been on a couple of cruises with us including our Cuba cruise back in 2019 and our Boston-Canada cruise last year ...her husband passed away 12 years ago- he was NYFD-NYC Fireman.. it was a great visit to see them all and her children's families.. brought back a lot of great memories and fun times together ..
