after yesterday's 'boompy' day at sea we arrived in Willemstad, Curacao before sunrise on this Sunday morning.. our first time here was 51 years 22 days ago for our honeymoon.. have been back many times since including our 25th and 30th anniversaries ... a nice place to visit.. a walk from our cruise berth passing thru RIF Fort and crossing over the Queen Emma swing bridge into Willemstad downtown... dinner in the Tamarind restaurant this evening- a favorite of ours..
a stop at the local watering hole in the RIF Fort on the way back- a favorite stop of our good friends from the UK- Margaret and Peter.. the nice young lady there said to send her love to you both..
