Day 13 - Half Moon Cay

it was back to Half Moon Cay Holland America's private island in the Bahamas on this early Thursday morning.. a 'late low clouds kinda sunrise' .. breakfast in the Pinnacle and we were off the ship on the first tender at 9am..a stop at the Info center to look up an old friend Anya the niece of Captain Jolly who I used to do offshore fishing charters with many many times on the island over the years.. unfortunately we got some sad news that the good Captain had passed away recently.. a very sad day.. a fun man.. a good man.. some pics of me and the Captain..  it was then a walk west to our favorite spot on the beach- down near the small gazebo.. there is just no beach around that can compare..  lunch at the Island's BBQ with the crew and staff from the Eurodam .. after lunch the clouds moved in and as we got on to the tender to head back to the ship a rain shower started.. 82* and sunny all morning though.. always a super day on our favorite beach.. after dinner it was a show in the World Stage theater - Musicology- with the Step One Dancers - they are a favorite of ours

rain and clouds moved in as we were leaving
