just wanted to say to our dear friends in the UK- Margaret and Peter O. - especialy today at Half Moon Cay- we surely miss you not being here with us
after yesterday's 'day at sea' it was up on go Deck 10 aft for the 612am sunrise as we made our approach to Half Moon Cay, Bahamas- Holland America's private island.. having been here over 45 times over the years it never gets old.. we still love coming here.. off the ship on a tender ride to the island at 915am... again it did not disappoint with super weather and temps in the low 80's.. as per my usual I walked to the west end point of the island then back halfway to meet back up with Pat before taking a well needed dip in the clear blue ocean waters.. the traditional BBQ was made use of for lunch.. back on the ship by 1pm as we set sail with all aboard at 230pm heading for our last port of call- Ft Lauderdale - on this first segment of 3 back to back cruises..
