a nice day as we sailed into our anchorage in Taiohae, Nuku Hiva, Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia at sunrise.. I was up on the Sky Deck 11 at 530am..we took the tender on to the island at 915am.. it was hot already... temps got up to 88* by 1030am -cookin'. having been here a couple of times in the past we walked the town with some good scenic views from 'the hill'.. a super nice day in this our last port of call before sailing back to San Diego with 8 days at sea covering 2800 nm.. a rain squall passed thru during sailaway at 530pm.. we saw it from our table while having dinner in the Tamarind.. already we got the notice about expecting poor internet coverage on the 8 day sail back
