leaving Papeete' our next stop was just 15 miles away on the island of Moorea for another overnite stay.. rain squalls and multiple rainbows greeted us as the ship pulled up to its anchorage in the Bay--Bahia d' Opunoha on this early Saturday morning.. the Captain's 'non-weather report' leaving Papeete yesterday was to 'enjoy the Rainbows'- a funny man as I knew what that meant--RAIN for Moorea ... we delayed going ashore on the tenders until after lunch.. while ashore at the tender dock we took a short taxi ride to Les Tapaneris hotel and the beach.. we've been there a couole of times in the psst on previous cruises.. all the beaches are public.. nice folks there .. the sun was shining on this part of the island.. back to the tender dock and the shirt ride back to the ship when the rain started again.. dinner at the Canaletto restaurant for some needed Italian fare
