a pretty early morning at sunrise even as it was delayed by some low clouds along the horizon.. we should be crossing the Equator this morning less than 40 miles away as I write.. a King Neptune ceremony is planned for those newbies- Poliwogs- who have never crossed before.. we've done the Equator crossing a number of times in the past

as is customary when crossing the Equator King Neptune arrived on time at 2pm on the Lido Deck-aft at the Seaview pool.. the ceremony commenced soon thereafter as the Poliwogs were brought before him as he sealed their fate.. soon they were Shellbacks.. a good time had by all.. as usual loads of fun..
