a beautiful sail-in to the atoll of Fakarava as the ship slowly passed thru the coral inlet passage toward its anchorage passing the Fakarava airport as some on here- Barbara R - might remember from back in December 2019 on the Amsterdam.. we decided to head on to the tender at 915am.. of course a rain squall or two greeted us making for not so clear water as we searched for the famous 'friendly sharks'.. came back to the ship after a nice long walk along the beachfront on the inner bayside.. back over to the island at 1pm as the waters cleared but no sharks along the beach to swim with.. with the sun back out it sure got hot out.. cookin' 87*
