Day 46--Puerto Vallarta

we entered the Bay of Banderas well before sunrise enroute to our dock inside the harbor in Puerto Vallarta... the temps were a bit low at 64* but it warmed up nicely as soon as the sun came out..  our plan was to get off the ship then take a short 10 minute taxi ride to downtown and the Malecon area along the waterfront..we've been here before on a number of cruises ... nice picture taking opportunities as we walked all the way down to the Resort at the very end...   plenty of shops.. nice local people made for a fun couple of hours that we spent there... to get the 'full flavor'of  PV we hopped a local bus--the Wal Mart special back to the port area which just happens to stop right across from the ship in front of WalMart..Sams Club and the Vallarta Mall.. we went into WM for a few essentials.. then on over to the Mall right next door for some free wifi internet... we were going to eat at the local Mexican restaurant that we always stop at when we're here but since the ship was docked three piers away those stores were mainly closed...  it was back on the ship.. then a nice dinner in the dining room.. afterwards it was to the showroom to see another classic show by Barnaby on the bill tonite...followed by the Filipino Crew Show which was great...ship's satellite internet was down most of the day.. just came back up but intermittent
