the ship's schedule according to Captain Ane' was to pass under the twin Quebec Bridges just outside of the city at 430am on this early Sunday morning..he said we had to sail by there by that time due to the rising tide to give the ship its needed clearance of 2 meters or 6 feet.. had to be there so it was up to the Sports Deck at 4am with camera in hand.. as we made our approach..sure looked a smidge closer than that as we passed under the twin spans.. with a 453am sunrise I stayed outside 48* with 15-20 kt winds.. brrrrr it was.. not the forecast that I saw 2 days ago that showed 65* and sunny skies.. oh well..one must adapt..
it started to rain for a short while after breakfast then the cold temps and high winds picked back up again.. with our early departure time set at 230pm we decided just to stay on the ship today.. we'll be back to Quebec City 2 more times thruout this 4 week cruise
