sailing back to Halifax as we make our approach toward the inlet on this the last leg of of 4 weeks cruising New England and Canada.. a nice chilly 55* early morning just before the 528am sunrise as I made my way up to the Lido Deck-aft.. winds NNE at 15+ kts .. I was the only one out there on deck until I was leaving.. forecast shows warming up into the 70's later on with clear skies..
it's two days in a row -- sunny with clear blue skies.. a pretty day as we set out for our walk thru Halifax at 930am.. temps are at 76* by 11am..short sleeves are in order as we made our way up the hill to Spring Garden Street and Queen Street and our first stop at LuLuLemon's -who woulda thunk it.. from there it was a short walk to the Public Gardens--beautifully landscaped as always.. back to LuLuLemon's to buy another gift.. down the hill to the Boardwalk area along the river with a stop of course at Cow's Ice Cream--Gooey-Moowie and Wowie-Cowie double cone.. it was crowded with peeps around town-- a mega ship holding 4k pax Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas was docked just in front of our ship on the waterfront.. our ship the Zaandam only holds 1400 pax.. smaller is 'good-er-er'..
