Day 28- Bar Harbor

as we approach our next to last port of call -- Bar Harbor, Maine I was up on the Lido Deck-aft well before the 448am  sunrise.. it sure is nice and quiet this early on deck--ahhh just like I like it... 51* with no wind as the low fog moved in just above the water..  at about 615am I noticed a 'FOG BOW' also called a 'WHITE RAINBOW' just off our port bow... 2 short Videos

the forecast calls for 65* and sunny today.. looks like it'll be breakfast at our usual 730am in the Pinnacle followed by a stop at US Immigration at just after 8am.. the agents board the ship in this tender port and proceed with immigration checkin onboard.. we plan on going ashore into Bar Harbor around 930am..

a beautiful morning as we got off the ship by 930am and on to a tender for the 10 minute ride to downtown Bar Harbor.. a walk about the town as the sun was shining with clear blue skies and temps of 64*.. a lot warmer than the ocean water temps still at 48*.. in and out of the local stores.. but first had to get my Whoopie Pie and Java to start the day off right-- as I always do when we are here..  we decided to skip the lobster lunch and had some good ol' pizza--at today's newly opened Downeast Pizza parlor right in the middle of town .. really pretty darn good..  picked up some small trinkets and souveniers in a local shop as well as a few needed t-shirts for my nephew's three kids who we are very close to.. a walk over to the rocky beach nearby the Bar Harbor Inn for some pics.before getting on a tender and heading back on to the ship. a really nice day in Bar Harbor before heading to Boston tomorrow morning and flying home as we end this 28 day cruise.. we sure had fun once again- doing what we love to do best- cruising 😀
