up and out on the Lido Deck-aft for a 447am sunrise-nada.. too many clouds as we made our approach to our anchorage in Bar Harbor in the bay.. breakfast in the Pinnacle.. followed by US Immigration check-in onboard.. off the ship by 9am and on to a local tender for the ride into Bar Harbor.. the clouds lifted and the sun was shining..blue skies up to 70*.. super nice day.. first stop as per my usual-- at the Pink Pastry Cafe for a Whoopeeeee Pie and a cup of java.. Pat had a cookie and coffee ..our friend Anne had a donut and tea.. sat on the bench along Main Street watching the tourist action-- a tradition for us.. after some shopping and a nice walkall around and thru town it was on to Stewman's in the Marina for some lunch.. back on the ship just after 2pm.. it was High Tea being served in the Dining Room at 3pm for the ladies as Pat and Anne headed that way.. I'm just not a high-tea kinda guy.. the ice cream in the Lido was more to my liking.. this is our last port before disembarking the ship tomorrow morning in Boston after 28 days onboard the Zaandam.. way way too short of a cruise for us these days as we completed our 99th cruise on Holland America-- more to come as we head to Europe and the Med for 64 days in mid-September thru November.. gotta keep on cruisin'
