what is early was late this early Friday morning as the 442am sunrise didn't happen until 5am due to heavy clouds as we sail southbound just north of Quebec City along the St Lawrence River.. patience won out.. the sun was shining.. the forecast called for 100% chance of rain thruout the day..
it was breakfast at the Pinnacle once again at 730am.. we docked by 9am and we were off the ship by 930am.. no rain as it was mostly sunny as the sun peeked in/out occassionally as we walked Quebec City Old Town ..a ride on the Funiculaire to the Upper Level in the shadows of Hotel Chateau Frontenac ..a short walk to Paillards for a coffee-croissant nosh.. the rain held off and it was nice having the weather forecast for today a bust.. back on the ship by noon..
