Day 1 - Embarkation day-Koningsdam setting sail

walked across the street from our hotel and watched our ship the Koninsdam approaching the dock from out in the Bay

well it's 1130am and we have EMBARKED Holland America's  Koningsdam ..we're onboard and in our cabin.. woo woo. we're super glad to be back HOME and SAILING AGAIN.. 

the embarkation process was e-z from our luggage dropoff outside the cruise terminal as we entered the gated area.. then it was into the terminal and no wait.. all good from station to station.. the HAL employees and Security Staff both in the terminal and onboard were great and knew what they were doing--well done..

UPDATE : 355pm.. we set sail leaving the dock for our first port arriving on Tuesday morning- Cabo San Lucas
