making our approach to Mazatlan early this morning before Sunrise just after 6am.. went up to the Sky Deck on the bow to snap a few or two or mucho many as I always do.. these were some of the pics taken with my Note 20 Ultra..easier to upload .. shot a bunch with my 6dMkII also
off the ship just after 9am ..hopped the small shuttle tram from the ship to the cruise terminal.. lots of vendors and cab drivers hawking their tours out in front..
haven't been to Mazatlan since our cruise on the Maasdam way back in 2008 thru the Panama Canal.. there were no tall buildings here back then.. now it's a big city with plenty of high-rises..
once outside on the street we were met by 'tourist volunteers' mainly ex-pats from the US.. nicely done pointing us in the right direction.. and follow the Blue-Line that is laid out on a path to walk over to the historic part of the city..
a walk over to the Cathedral and back.. about a lil' over a mile away into the heart of the historic district.. safe streets with tourist police out and about. again nicely done
