D-Day Anniversary June 6, 1944 76 years ago.. in all the turmoil in today's world we live in .. let us try to remember
those brave soldiers--many who paid the 'ultimate price' --who stormed
the beaches of Normandy 76 years ago today--- June 6, 1944.. I as a
Veteran pay tribute with a SALUTE to all... the turning point of WWII
for the Allies
a bit on the hazy side but no complaints from
me... out on to the beach by 545am.. only thing missing was the
Strawberry Moon.. too many clouds behind me and to the west as the Moon
quickly hid before setting just after 6am.. 74* early with lots of
humidity kept the heat cooking up at 85* this afternoon..
