Day 28-- Half Moon Cay--almost-- Day at Sea

arrival at Half Moon Cay, Bahamas--Holland America's private island-- just after sunrise... winds were 25 kts gusting to over gale force 34+ kts.. seas were up big time so I immediately knew the Captain's announcement was soon to come over the ship's speakers.. we would NOT be stopping as the tender ride was too hazardous .. having been here 45x in the past this would be our 4th time we would have to bypass at the island.. disappointed as it is our favorite of all the Caribbean beaches bar none--'best-est of the best' :(.. so our day will be another 'day at sea' as we sail slooooowly at 11 kts toward our final end of cruise port--Ft Lauderdale arrival tomorrow morning and hopefully will be 'on the road' for the 12 hour drive home by 8am
